Top 10 UNUSUAL reasons to breastfeed

#10 -
Breastmilk can take the place of water when your kid is really thirsty and there's just no water available; just pop it in!

#9 -
Run out of facial wash? Use breastmilk as you would your facial wash and rinse off with warm water. Very moisturising!

#8 -
Breastmilk makes your coffee/tea/milo taste heavenly; add to your drink as you would creamer.

#7 -
Breastmilk can also help relieve the itch from mosquito bites; squirt some on the bite and rub it in.

#6 -
#Breastmilk is marvelous at curing sore eyes, something I've been really grateful for the last couple of weeks during which my almost-5yo girl often complained of "eyepain" and "eyeitch". She just did again tonight, which inspired me to write this post.

#5 -
Breastmilk can be used as an antiseptic when your kid gets a cut outside and there's nowhere to wash the wound. Squirt at the wound, do not rub. Air dry. Also applicable to adult wounds. (Sidenote: be a little more discreet when squirting)

#4 -
Want a larger bosom but implants are a no-no? Breastfeeding often gives women a larger cup size for the duration of breastfeeding or at least in the first year, so you can look better while being a mom! That is, if you WANT a larger cup size (like I do. ALL the time.) Might need you to spend more money on buying a bigger sized bra though.

#3 -
Got insomnia? During breastfeeding, your body releases a hormone called prolactin into your blood, which helps you to relax and (at least for me) feel sleepy.

#2 -
Breastfeeding gives me a reason to eat as much as I want, ANYTHING that I want, on account of all the calories that are burnt up during every nursing session. Bye bye diet, hello chocolate, ice cream, and other fattening stuff!

AND THE #1 UNUSUAL REASON TO BREASTFEED IS -
Breastfeeding can help you to eat more at a buffet; just nurse your kid and presto! you're hungry again!
